We awoke with thick heads to a guy driving around the campsite on a mini bike with a bullhorn telling us it was time to get up, so this is what we did, packed our things up walked about a mile to register ourselves and the car (turns out we could of drove round instead of walking queued up with the other cars and waited. With a quick lap of goodwood circuit completed which was hilarious and so fun we set off for the ferry with about 300 other teams! We stopped just on the way into dover and had a quick fish and chips whilst waiting to board the ferry.
We rolled off the end and that was it we were in France! Ive driven on the opposite side of the road to England a few times before so i didn't find it strange, Joe however hasn't and said it was very odd being on that side of the road. From France we drove all the way to Germany for our first overnight stop, which included driving through Champagne region but other than that theres not a lot to see in northern France just a lot of highways. We arrived in the wee hours of the am and went to bed.
