We started the day with a lie in as our guide had said that as its Friday none of the garages able to fix the morris minor will be open until at least 10.30 (their Friday is like our Sunday) As a group we decided that the temporary solution was now a permanent one, i asked Mohamed if we could visit the Azadi Tower something id seen pictures of in Tehran and was keen to visit.
From the outside its a truly unique building in design and gets even better on the inside. It was designed buy a 24year old university student at the time and now is a building that represents Tehran and the city.
Inside is a cool 3D map of the whole of Iran as well as pieces on Iranian heritage and history then we took 2 lifts to the top of the tower for some fabulous views! Had a quick lunch and then drove to the next hotel.
